HOSTAGE Is A New Zealand Short Film Following The Soldiers Involved In A Fictional Hostage Drama In The Northern City Of Whangarei. The Soldiers Are From The NZSAS, New Zealands Most Revered Military Unit. 2 Hostages Are Taken During A 6 Hour Shooting Rampage By 2 Armed Offenders. The Troops, Trained In Elite Counter Terrorism, Are Tasked With Rescuing The 2 Hostages. This Film Follows The Rescue Operation Directed By: Kenneth Ruddell Produced By: Pyro North nz Distrubuted By: SBP WBHS Short Film Competition: HOSTAGE was an entry to the Whangarei Boys High School Short Film Competition,  and will premier during the compition. Soon, it will be released in full to the internet for free viewing.
