AUGUST - WHANGAREI. This month SBPnz will be around whangarei filming some awesome events, notably the RNZAF TACEX training exercise around the northland region in C130s. Also as part of the Telethon on TV3 on Sunday 9 August the RNZAF will be conducting a flypast at the event in Kensington park.

The RNZAF AirShow 2009 At Whenuapai Airbase attracted an estimated 50,000 spectators as the New Zealand Warbirds, Royal New Zealand Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force & the United States Air Force took to the skies to blow eardrums or wow the crowds.Every Aircraft in the RNZAF inventory was on display - It was an awesome day, and for those who couldnt make it or those who want to relive the memorable air displays, check out our RNZAF AIR SHOW PAGE.

Our brand new website is now up and running! Due to the growing traffic numbers, SBPnz has expanded its aviation section bringing us this new website with flash elements, such as direct youtube embeds and archives plus animated slideshows and headers.
We kick off 2009 with the RNZAF Airshow at Whenuapai in March, we also hope regular viewers have seen the brand new tribute video to the NZDF.
